Sydney’s Best Dressed 2024 took place last Sunday at 5 PM at the prestigious five-star venue Sir Stamford Plaza in Mascot. One of the highlights of the night was a designer showcase by LARi Active, led by Indira Setia Putri. Founded in 2020 in Melbourne, LARi Active takes its name from the Indonesian word for “run,” reflecting its ethos of being always on the go. True to its namesake, LARi is a fashion-forward activewear brand designed to be worn in the gym and beyond. Fueled by a passion for fashion and fitness, LARi combines a fashion-centric approach with high-performance technology, comfort, and functionality, resulting in refreshingly bold pieces made for the modern lifestyle.
Founded by Maryrose Salubre, CEO of MS Entertainment Network, Sydney’s Best Dressed is produced by MS Entertainment Network and honours distinguished men and women for their outstanding achievements and contributions to the fashion industry. Each year, stylish individuals are celebrated and given the opportunity to strut their stuff on the runway. Over the years, the event has expanded to include a variety of categories, culminating in the annual Sydney’s Best Dressed Gala Awards Night.
This year, Sydney’s Best Dressed launched the Model of the Year competition, offering aspiring models a unique opportunity to kickstart their careers in the modelling and fashion industry. The contestants—Dannays, Tianna, Aylin, CJ, Laura, Grace, Fleur, and Saige—brought their A-game to the runway, showcasing their talents and potential. In one of the segments, the contestants wore LARi Active, an active-wear brand designed with fashion, comfort, functionality, and sustainability in mind, allowing wearers to move through their day comfortably, flexibly, and confidently.
Sydney’s Best Dressed 2024 was not just a celebration of fashion but also a platform for new talents to shine. With its continued dedication to honouring fashion excellence and promoting new talents, the event remains a significant highlight in Sydney’s social calendar. We look forward to seeing what next year’s event will bring and how these aspiring models will continue to grow in their careers.
